Eric Grauffel

Eric is a sport shooter and member of the CZ Shooting Team, with an unprecedented winning streak of over 250 IPSC President Medals and less than 10 losses since the age of 16.

Eric Grauffel (born December 8, 1979 in Quimper, France) is one of the most successful practical sport shooters of all time. He is a nine-time IPSC World Champion across three main divisions – Open, Production, and Standard – and has won over 250 IPSC President Medals.

Eric is a professional shooter and instructor, as well as a long-standing member of the CZ Shooting Team. He has played a key role in the development and testing of CZ firearms, especially the CZ SHADOW 2 and CZ TS 2 models. He currently competes in the Production division using the CZ SHADOW 2 ORANGE. In the past, he also focused on the Standard division with the CZ TS 2 ORANGE in hand and the Open division with a custom, high-performance pistol using CZ components.

As the founder of the EG-CZ Academy in Quimper, France, and its chief instructor, Eric trains shooters of all levels – from beginners to elite competitors – in precise and efficient shooting, along with mastering the mental aspects of the sport. His academy is also a hub for testing innovations and optimizing competition gear in close cooperation with CZ.

Shooting has been Eric’s passion since childhood. He began competing in the IPSC at age 10 and won his first French national title at 16. In addition to his competitive career, he runs a gun store and is an active advocate for responsible firearm ownership and safety. As a CZ ambassador, he represents the brand in international campaigns promoting safe and responsible gun use and regularly supports the presentation of CZ firearms to the global shooting community.
