The CZ 457 series provides exceptional shooting comfort with its fast, easy, and reliable operation, even with a mounted riflescope.

Due to the modular design of rifles in the CZ 457 series, they can be easily customized in accordance with the needs and preferences of customers, including conversion to other calibers (22 LR, 17 HMR, 22 WMR).

Accuracy

The high accuracy of CZ 457 series rifles is due to the use of cold hammer forged barrels manufactured in-house by CZ, smooth operation of the trigger mechanism with adjustable pull weight and travel, a lightened striker, and, last but not least, the advanced ergonomics of the stock.

MATCH chamber

Selected 22 LR models have a MATCH chamber at the very limit of CIP tolerance. These firearms have a guaranteed accuracy of 1 MOA with the use high quality ammunition.

Constant screw tightening system in the stock

The innovative bedding of the CZ 457 series largely eliminates the effects that wood expansion has on sighted-in firearms and accuracy when temperatures fluctuate.

Lighter striker

The low weight of the striker on CZ 457 series rifles leads to quick travel after the trigger is pulled and prevents even the smallest vibrations that could affect accuracy of the shot. It has also been modified for durability during dry fire training.

Trigger mechanism

Trigger pull on the CZ 457 is set at the factory to a safe level of 11.1 to 14 N, but can be easily adjusted by the user to between 8 and 15 N. Trigger travel is adjustable from 0.5 to 5 mm.

Ergonomics

All stocks on CZ 457 series rifles feature advanced ergonomics that ensure fully intuitive operation and make a significant contribution to high accuracy. Depending on the barrel profile, stocks of individual models can also be used on other versions.

User-exchangeable calibers and barrel profiles

Minisets allow users to make simple and safe adjustments to the parameters and performance of CZ 457 rimfire rifles. They can change the caliber, barrel length, and barrel profile.

Barrels

A wide range of cold hammer forged barrels in several lengths is available for the CZ 457 series. You can choose from barrels with a light profile, heavy profile, and heavy profile with fluting. The muzzle on all barrels features ½" × 20 UNF threading with a thread protector.

Safety features

Safety

The silent, push-to-fire manual safety on the right side of the receiver allows for natural and intuitive operation in the direction of fire.

Convenient and fast bolt operation

With only 60° of bolt rotation, reloading is comfortable, smooth, and fast. The limited rotation of the bolt handle, combined with its sleek design, ensures trouble-free operation of the firearm with a mounted riflescope.

Striker Status Indicator

The red indicator protruding from the striker nut reliably shows if the firing mechanism is cocked and can be checked both visually and by touch, which is advantageous when shooting in dim light or at night.

Sights

Selected CZ 457 models are equipped with Iron sights that are fully adjustable and removable. The front sight and, where applicable, rear sight feature a red fiber optic rod.

The front sight, and optional rear sight, features a red fiber optic rod that gathers and amplifies ambient light for high visibility, even in lower light conditions, ensuring a clear sight picture for quicker target acquisition.

Simple and safe disassembly

The bolt can be safely removed from the firearm by pressing a separate, easily accessible control button on the left side of the receiver. Basic disassembly, therefore, requires no manipulation of the trigger.

Magazines

Most CZ 457 models come with a 5 round magazine made of highly durable polymer. However, you can purchase 5 or 10 round metal magazines and 10, 15, or 25 round polymer magazines from CZ.

Durability

The cold hammer forged barrel on CZ 457 series rifles ensures high accuracy and is extremely durable.

Nitrided Receiver and Barrel

The receiver and barrel on all CZ 457 series models come with an in-house finish that ensures extreme resistance to mechanical damage, weathering, and sweat.

All metal components on CZ 457 series rifles are protected with an anti-corrosion finish.

The CZ 457 series consists of an extensive, continuously updated range of models with parameters optimized for an equally wide range of applications - from sport shooting to hunting to hobby shooting.

Selected models are also available with a reversed bolt system for comfortable use by left-handed shooters.
